Yes, that is her name. Actually, her FULL name is Lady Miss WhineyButt Jackrabbit Slim. She.... is MY cat.

October 26, 2004, her mama gave birth to a litter AT MY HEAD at 2AM (I was asleep when it started, and it was my roommates cat who was giving birth). I woke up just as the 3rd kitten was being born, and that was Whiney. She came out with a huge chip on her shoulder, yelling and whining. She was the only kitten I named. Before I could name any of the others, my roommates dog decided to kill off the litter while roommate and I were at work. Whiney was the only one that survived. I grabbed her and left, moving in with my (then) boyfriends parents and raising WhineyButt on a bottle.

Tomorrow, at 4PM CST, I will be taking her to the Rainbow Bridge to cross. The vet has checked her out from head to toe and, while there is nothing *wrong* with her, she is steadily losing weight and refusing to eat. Although every person here has tried hand feeding her, special food, treats, etc etc.... she just wants to sleep. So, I'm gonna let her.
