Hello All! I’m one of those long time lurkers that has yet to introduce herself. Guess I’m a bit shy which is kind of a silly thing on Reddit, but what can you do? Im not really sure what to say about myself but I’ll give it a go and feel free to AMA If you’re curious.

I’m a ginger from California so I spend a lot of time hiding from the sun. I’m either indoors being crafty, watching movies, and being tolerated by my cat Zooey, or outdoors in big hats! I love being creative and dabble in a little bit of everything. I love to paint, crochet, sew, decoupage, and trying all sorts of new arts and crafts. I have a small collection of vintage craft books which are great for inspiration and instruction.

I love horror movies and my favorite holiday is Halloween so it’s definitely time to get spooky! Starting to decorate, which isn’t too different from my normal decor, and figuring out what costumes to make. My boyfriend is also a ginger with a big red beard so any ideas for a ginger couple costume would be great.

I’m a bit of a collector (that’s just shy of hoarder, right?) and I love seeing all the great things people are gifting and receiving on here. I just started collecting vintage taxidermy. I also love circus sideshow and fortune teller/tarot memorabilia. Lots of slightly creepy vintage, oddities, and crystals mixed with mid century modern esthetic.
