Hello all!
I currently accrue 36 days of paid time off a year, and haven't taken a (real) vacation, well ever. I ended up getting really ill three years in a row (pneumonia, a blood infection, and pneumonia again), so rather than take a vacation, that's what I ended up doing with the bulk of my time.
Well, I got a promotion and my boss is making me take time off. At the beginning of September, I'm taking 7 entire days! I have a couple of groupons I plan to use the last few days of my vacation, but from the 5th through the 11th, I have no plans! What are some cheap, free and most importantly, RELAXING things that you enjoy when you have free time?
