Post Body

I'm a 3rd grade teacher, and I love it. However, testing has taken over my job! As if AIMS (our states big standardized test) wasn't bad enough my kids have to take 4-6 long standardized "benchmark tests" each quarter to check their progress towards being successful on the test. Sometimes I feel like it's all we do, it makes me feel so stressed out and I know it's so much worse for them. We spent 4 hours in silence today as they took the test, and those that don't take forever have to wait for the whole class to be done. It's seriously torture :( Two more days to go... then we have a short break from tests until AIMS!
