Hey all! My doctor has recommended I lose some weight for my high blood pressure and while I'm sorting out the food side of that adventure, the workout side has been a new thing for me.
I'm looking to see if anyone else wants to start getting active/fit so we can keep one other accountable, share easy/beginner home workouts or routines, maybe something like we take turns finding a good workout video and we all commit to trying it that week?
There are SO many options it's overwhelming, and for many of us just starting out going from 0 (no activity) to 100 (full activity) can be really overwhelming, scary, and intimidating. I've got some gym-inclined friends who have suggested some good YouTubers to check out and I've found a few I like so far but I'd love to connect with people who have the same anxieties as me!
I'm thinking we could do a Reddit group chat, or for more flexibility/organization we could use a Discord server. But yeah, just hoping to find some friends who can help me stay accountable and celebrate one another's gains, no matter how small they may seem!
