Ai does not need earth

If ever there is a super intelligent AI...it would not need earth. It could live anywhere in the universe without having to exist on earth. There is more than enough resources in space for it to use.
It could spread to any planet it wishes to. Time is not the barrier it is to humans.
AI is probably the only way the universe could be colonised
