What Christian Tradition is Depicted in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice?

I ask because the choir boys seem distinctly Anglican to me. The type of collar the priest wears, though, is Catholic (small white insert rather than what is colloquially called "dog collar"). Most likely, the film makers were not particular about it either way, but I thought this might be a fun rabbit to chase around

I haven't seen it but I appreciate the question.

I remember being similarly confused when watching Outer Range, which depicts a church decorated by a cross (not a crucifix) but still observing the Eucharist.
