Yep, irony at its finest! I am requesting here.

Halloween has always been such a big deal to me. I've always decked the house out, and just handed out handfuls of candy to every kid. It's by far my favourite ay of the year.

I am working on the assumption that Halloween will be cancelled in my city. You can check out the news here, as it says we're expecting our second wave to hit in the next few weeks. Our province/city was one of the first to shut everything down, and pass by-laws requiring masks, and they've been talking about canceling Halloween for a while.

As a result, I have a dream! I want to set up a table in my front yard with bags of shit for kids to take home. I live between three schools so there are tons of kids everywhere.

I'm disabled so I'm on a fixed budget. Normally I'd ask Mama Turd to cover these types of expenses, but she just retired and I don't want to burden her.

Couple notes:

• I want masks because I'm going to set it up in a way where people have to use hand sanitizer and put on a mask before grabbing a bag, to keep them all clean.

• Same for the bristol board - I'm going to make signs saying like "start here, use hand sanitizer, grab a mask, etc".

• I'm using brown paper bags even though they're more expensive than most party favour bags because I don't want kids looking through the bags. I am going to decorate them though so they're not so lame.

• I'm going to aim for 150 bags.

• If anyone has any better ideas for cheaper ideas, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I want this to be as cost effective as possible.

• If for any reason Halloween is NOT cancelled, I'll just hand out the bags as they trick-or-treat as opposed to holding it outside.
