My son asked me to post this on his behalf. He works as direct care staff with a 32 year old man who has the intellectual capacity of a grade schooler.
One of the things my son is trying to help him learn is how to count money. He seems to learn best with tangible objects so my son would like to get him some realistic looking play money, plastic coins, etc and some flash cards so he can work with him on learning the basics of how money works.
We don't want anyone to spend money buying any of this, we were just wondering if someone might have something around their house that they aren't using and want to see it put to good use.
