Much much much delayed but these thickly stuffed envelopes get to give me joy yet again when I open them to write this thank you!
For the lovely flair helpers: (x7) total (4 cards 3 cards):
As usual, your envelope decor never disappoints! You sent me an indigo envelope with swirling flower patterns and vines all across, and decorated with the most adorable animal stickers and metallic clear flower stickers! The gaping fish on the stamp was also pretty funny! It was sealed with a clear tape which changes between pink and blue in the light.
Inside were cards and a whole envelope full of goodies! Two of the cards featured CATS!! going about their business and a moomin card, and one with a vintage gas advert. As usual you treated me to one of your amazing drawings, this time of as wolf howling Happy Halloween! I hope you really got to enjoy autumn seeing as you were looking forward to it so much.
I too, have been chilling out having tea and writing letters - so it seems we have that in common :D Unfortunately as you can tell, writing thank yous have taken a back seat to both. Thank you for wishing me a safe trip on my holiday (which was so desperately much needed!) I hope you managed to find time for yourself despite the rigors of law school too.
You sealed all the goodies nicely into a separate translucent envelope covered with what I think is mistletoe! Inside was confetti of assorted halloween themed shapes = skulls and crossbones, cobwebs, pumpkins, cats, and bats! There were also washi paper stickers of various classical art pieces, and the usuals I always look forward to, teabags and an origami bird!
Much as it brings me joy to see you bring me new smiles with differently themed confetti each time, may I request it not be included with my mail in the future? I never know what to do with it afterwards and I feel bad letting go of it because it's so unique!
Golly what a joy to get Christmas mail so early this year - you were definitely one of the first I received!
You sent it in a massivered envelope decorated with shiny blue washi tapes (my favourite colour!) and stamp-shaped stickers all round. There was even one with an owl on!
Immediately the first thing I noticed was the massive 3-D pop up card with a winter scene and an arctic fox chilling out in front of a snowy log cabin - and all the outlines were lined in gold! Inside the card was an absolute myriad of seasonal stickers - birds with candies, jars with cookies, Rudolph, and beautifully colour-coordinated washi in greens, golds and pinks.
You also drew me another wolf (naturally!) to go along with your playlist of fun songs. Thank you for sharing these with me, and I never tire of seeing how you draw fur - such a beautiful texture! The little drawing saying (nothing to see here) at the bottom of the card was also cheerfully delightful. Naturally along with the two cards you also sent this one overshadowed them, haha.
The next thing was paper - oh my gosh, so much paper!!! Double sided origami paper of all shades, patterns and colours. I'm planning to go no-buy for 100 days next year so these will be put to such good use making cards!
I made good use of the stickers and washi tape you've sent me already - they've all been used to decorate my Christmas cards, haha. I sent only to local friends this time or else it would be super overwhelming. Do you do Christmas mail too?
Thanks again for all the mail love! You can bet there'll be another mail coming your way soon (I did send you mail when I first received your Christmas envelope, but you know how the mail is this time of year!)
