to all below - very grateful for all this mailbox cheer. work has taken up way too much of my mental space lately and i'm posting this thanks later than i'd have liked to. i feel like i got one card every other day the past month and that was always a bright spot! i was also able to chat with my mail carrier (finally!) and he said rather adorably "i hope this isn't creepy but i love seeing your mail, the stickers and the designs" - so i'm passing on his appreciation to you all as well. (of course i said "no way, my online community loves hearing that our mail carriers like seeing our mail!")

halloween cards:
u/anony-meow-s - really appreciate this extra special card of the bat holding mail atop a pumpkin. when you posted this offer everyone was so in love and it was so sweet of you to buy/share more of the same cards to bring people mailbox joy. if i had a reddit award, i'd being giving it to you now for your thoughtfulness of that post!
u/orangewolpertinger - this was so fun, the ghosts in the haunted house, the shimmery ghost stickers, the fortune teller, the goodies, THANK YOU because it made my day when i opened it. fortune tellers were no small part of my pre-teen years. :D
u/TigerLady13 - thanks for the music suggestions and the halloween maze card, super adorable and reminded me of happy childhood trick or treat times
u/Evil_Snicker - such a impressive halloween card! the black and silver with the shiny washi and the textured dots and the symmetry, umm, chefâs kiss! thank you so much. it sounds like making cards with your daughter would be really fun. it makes me so happy to hear about that being a shared activity. i hope my halloween reply card made it to you both with my thanks to your daughter included!
u/snailmailer142 - your silly unicorn poo card entertained me, and my aunt and uncle got a kick out of it too. i often send my aunt cards for holidays but i didn't get to do halloween this year so i just texted her a picture of your card, lol, THANKS. i also really appreciated that you selected the mississippi river minnesota stamp for me. i was secretly hoping someone might do that with these stamps. :)
u/thepoppunkqueen - your linocut ghost card is so impressive, i looooveeeddd it. way to go. it's awesome. and the back was decorated so cute, a sprinkle of silver, a dash of rainbow. really enjoyed. my planned fall activities were going to an apple orchard (that was weird because they didn't let you pick your own đ) and painting đ. i found freaking adorable mini pumpkins this year and gave them cute-but-evil faces. mischievous. :D
non-halloween cards:
u/likablelobster x3 - first, that croissant scene is the most adorable postcard ever from the coffee/tea meta swap. stamps, stickers, and washi all a delight. second, danke for the foliage theme meta card plus leaf postcard. your leaf drawings and how you wrote my name in the card delighted me (and so did the stickers) so i left the card open on my coffee table for a week!
u/wabisabi_sf - loving the woodpecker facts and the beautiful vintage stamps on this classy as heck card from the Wild Animals of the World postcard set. thank you for sharing such a nice offer. i wonder if the illustrations are used in any books or anything. this set in particular seems like such a good gift for use as postcards or wall art !
u/vita_woolf - thank youuu for the gallic rose postcard! nice to swap with you!
u/omggallout - book glee! these cards are such a delight arenât they? oh i loooove âthe secret gardenâ too! the book is nice but the movie is one of my all-time favorites, ever since i was little. i once created a livejournal theme with images and colors from the film. i should watch it on my new-ish large tv :O that would be such a treat. i have never considered reading âa tree grows in brooklynâ so itâs on my list now thanks to you :)
u/Lara1507 - huge thanks for the special postcrossing stamp! it even arrived with a very cute covid hugs postmark. i really enjoyed learning through what you wrote about the behrens house. we need more community living spaces like that, even now. behrensâ design work has always captivated me, i wonder if thereâs a good biography out there. :) i'm so happy you enjoyed my card in return, it's always a treat to share stamps with those who get excited about them.
u/Sable__ - simple and beautiful jasmine character concept sketch postcard arrived right after a friend was telling me that he had a kid crush on jasmine when he was little. :D thanks!
u/jaimekj - loving the panda sticker on this card. i hope that winter brings you time and excitement to do more crafting and making your own cards. i find having a dedicated craft space/organization for my materials helps me stay motivated. my friend uses youtube as a major inspiration for starting projects/getting ideas which i'm going to try doing more of for my winter craft goal - maybe you would enjoy it too? let me know if you ever want to swap channel suggestions!
u/SatanekoChan x2 - thank you for the getting to know you answers card, yay! it finally made it!! the beach meta swap card is lovely as well. you have nice handwritingâŚ. since all the writing made your hand hurt just know i appreciated it when i opened the mail and i appreciate it again now lol ;) poste italiane came through just fine - your mail arrived a month after you sent it, i'm just slow to post thanks. my mail sent out of italy to the states arrived after a month generally, but one aunt just got her postcard two months later đ also i really like your envelopes!
u/todayisfab - pusheen, EEEEEeee! the washi, the stickers, dreaming of fries, burgers, and macarons in pastel! iâm happy you got yourself a treat for the fall season. it actually inspired me to do exactly the same from a local coffeeshop. way to pay it forward ;) iâm obsessed with your tiny sparkly username sticker.
u/MilesAndSmiles123 - whoaaa this card of the air raid preparation instructions was unexpected and fascinating. your message was spot on. how scary to think about, and how brave everyone must have had to be during the blitz. thank you for sending something truly unique.
