Today has been an especially hard, emotionally taxing day.
Thank you to:
u/MindOK9980 - Odin was not on his A game today while meeting our new primary doctor and I was a bit embarrassed, but I am not mad because he's allowed to have off days too and the exam room was admittedly fairly small and he is not. I will make sure he gets some cuddles (and an extra treatie) just for you. Give your two some treats and love from us!
u/FrolickingFinns4ever - Hearing about Sisu's grand adventure was the highlight of my day. My working boy wouldn't know what to do with geese or swans. Probably try to befriend them? The rescue i work with specializes in reptiles and small critters and our living mascot is a 68 year old Cockatoo named Sammy who is a complete asshole. Odin DESPERATELY wanted to be Sammy's friend. Sammy did not want to be his friend. He wanted to be MY friend, but I was not dumb enough to go anywhere in biting distance. Did you know that cacatoos can run? I found that out at our last event when Sammy bit his handler, remembered he couldn't fly, and fell to the grass, and began to sprint away. Dude was faster than a fart on the wind.
u/ThriftyRiver - I love this postcard and the quote was one that I really needed to hear today. I've been having a lot of self doubt and insecurities lately about how I've progressed in my healing and journey and it's been a lot. Thank you.
u/pickupthepieces- You're one of my favorite people in general but I love it when you include things that are just perfectly fit for me. I am just so happy to have you in my life.
