First of all, I want to say a general thank you to all of the people who reached out to me from this community. It was a rough weekend and rough month for me and I was so surprised and so grateful for how many people were there for me when I was struggling. I am so grateful to be part of this community.
This is a lot of thank youâs in one go because I was sick but I have to go pick up my mail in person. But I am better now and looking forward to finally starting to send out mail again next week!!
Thank you to u/rhapsodytravelr for the cheer up card! Your envelope is so cool and the panda card is absolutely adorable! It is very much appreciated.
Thank you to u/malozing_running for the Castle in the Sky postcard! This looks super cool and I am looking forward to checking out this movie!! I also love the stickers and washi tape!!
Thank you u/sable__ for the Pixar postcard! This is super cool- Iâve never seen anything like this! And the stickers are adorable!
Thank you u/peonynote for the absolutely lovely message in the floral card. Iâm not crying, youâre crying XD - but in all seriousness, I appreciate this message so much. Youâll be happy to know that Iâm hoping to start low impact exercise again tomorrow and running again around Monday- nothing can make me give up on this! (Also the two koalas hugging sticker just made my heart so happy!!)
Thank you so much u/kimmylubs for the floral card and also the washi tape!! You asked if I tried baking- I do! I bake bread, mostly! Thank you so much for the kind and loving words :)
Thank you u/vik-thorrose for the lovely garden card. This reminds me so much of the family member I lost, and I am just so grateful for this card. Unrelated entirely but I think it is so cool that you included information about the pen and ink you used, and it is a beautiful ink! Thank you also for the cool inserts!
Thank you u/milesandsmiles123 for the super cool postcard with the woman and the dog! I love this art style, and I love dogs so much I am studying them in graduate school! This postcard is also unlike anything else I have! Absolutely beautiful :)
Thank you u/Dolliesqueak for the floral postcard encouraging me to get better and be myself. This is so sweet and beautiful! I love it so much!
Thank you u/ez330 for the butterfly postcard- this was not from my request. I remember your offer. Butterflies mean so much to so many people. You inspired me to talk to my mother about what they truly mean to me, and I think that it changed the way my mother and I understand each other. I am wishing you the absolute best. If you ever want to talk about your motherâs memory, feel free to reach out. This was a beautiful way to honor her.
Thank you u/snailmailer142 for the âhang in there like hair on a biscuitâ card. Truly an incredible laugh and exactly what I needed! I feel like I donât see funny cards too often, so youâve inspired me to find some to send out!!
Holy crap I didnât realize how many cards I had. How did I become a part of such an incredible community?
Thank you u/_pickupthepieces for the adorable get well soon card!! Your quotes helped so much. Also your handwriting is completely stunning! And I love puppies!
Thank you u/wabisabi_sf for the Blue Angels card! I have these incredible memories of my father taking me to airshows and building model planes with me as a kid, but they are buried deep. This card unlocks something that I donât find often and I love getting to see it. Also you have some really cool stamps and beautiful handwriting!
Thank you u/balosi for the beautiful blue water card! Your jokes made me laugh out loud! It was an absolute delight to read. The purple ink you used is so pretty!!
Thank you u/melhen16 for the moonx walk with me in moonlight card! This is a really cool art style I have just started seeing recently. Also thank you for writing that it glows in the dark because I recently received a similar one and it turns out they BOTH glow in the dark, which is just so cool.
Thank you u/hexagonalRainbow for the super cool art piece of a women with the cracks in her face. This card is beautifully made! I also totally relate to your favorite place being home. You asked what my favorite place was, and itâs very specifically this weird bench on top of the security building at the community college where my Dad used to teach. I donât know why, but I could lay there forever.
Thank you u/pickupthepieces (again) for the butterfly card! This must have been sent awhile ago- I apologize that it took me so long to pick it up!! Itâs so beautiful, and I loved the cactus tape on the envelop! You asked what my favorite mode of transport is and I honestly like to run as far as I can XD it makes me feel like the world is smaller and more intimate than it probably actually is.
Thank you u/kittycatcon for the super cool hand made halloween card! You put so much effort into every detail! The envelop was almost too cool to open!! I feel like there must have been a Halloween episode of Doctor Who, but funny enough, I canât name one either! Waters Of Mars was sufficiently scary to be a good watch on Halloween, though!
Some of these card were from offers and exchanges from before I got sick, and the rest were from everyone reaching out to help me when I definitely needed it, and I am so grateful to everyone that I have been receiving cards from and also that I got to send cards to! If you would like a card from me now that I am not sick anymore, please let me know!!
