u/herp_derpprincess x3: Thank you for your 3 cards and extras! There isn't a mandatory birthday food or cake, but I like jelly, so I usually ask for jello or agar agar. For my birthday meal, it's usually popiah, but done our style, which just means putting whatever we want inside! About your getting to know you answers, I think that aside from eating ice cream, it's got to be wearing sandals for me, haha! I like bubble tea... with no sugar and toppings (LOL what a waste of good money, I know). I've only travelled alone in a few places now - Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand. I really liked travelling in Taiwan. It's very manageable, size-wise and doesn't have as much chaos or people as the other countries. Where would you like to visit but hesitate about going? I definitely recommend Japan, but it can be a bit tough if you don't speak or read Japanese, especially now, because it's been closed for over 2 years and the locals have gotten used to not needing to speak English, it seems.

u/postfemininefemail x3: Thank you for your cards and extras! I think I saw a birthday stamp on the envelope? It's always really cool to see birthday stamps! I will pass the plasters onto my brother, who is an extremely frequent consumer of plasters! I'm quite curious about the stickers that you sent, with the message that Thailand belongs to its people. There was a date on it - 28th September 2020. Was there a specific event or protest that happened on that day? I didn't really have jetlag, since it was just an hour, but I've had really bad jetlag before! I always feel groggy when I get off planes, but that's partly because I like flying at weird hours and need to take motion sickness pills before. I had fun exploring Chiang Mai, although I went without much of an idea of how it would feel, so it was a nice surprise to find how different it was from Bangkok. The highlight of the Thailand portion of my trip has to be the sleeper train I took up from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and getting to see those views from the train! (It's a great coincidence that your card is of a train!) Singapore is so small. Last weekend, I made a "cross country trip", which was just about 30 minutes on the train, hahah! I don't really go on car rides now, but I really like driving around at night. I like being on a plane too, I like the idea that I'm going somewhere! Oh wow, that's really cool that you just got a huge collection from your aunt! I'm not a collector either and this might be shocking, but if the values weren't too large, I'd probably just use them as usual stamps for sending!

u/DPClamavi: Thank you for your card about your Sunday! Lately, I haven't really been able to read a lot because I've got a lot of distractions in life (just travel/travel plans/travel ideas), but I've been reading Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo lately!

u/FrolickingFinns4ever: Thank you for your birthday card and extras! I think the nonsensical life advice was really fun, but that means that I haven't been to or had a party in a long time! I prefer eating jelly over cake for my birthday, so I usually get a form of that instead! I love the idea of having a potato dish instead of cake for your birthday! A friend once said their favourite food was potato because it was so versatile and honestly, I've never forgotten that, because it really is true! Good thing you live somewhere without too many eyes, because birthday suits over here would definitely be a problem!

u/littlemermaidxx: Thank you for your card of San Francisco! I hope that your tomato plants are doing well, though it is probably getting colder now. Are there lots of foggy days, especially when it gets colder?

u/StephanieTay x13: Thank you for your many, many cards and stickers! I love the variety in the card designs! I happen to have the same sushi stickers from Daiso, hahaha! You can never have enough sushi! It's also funny, but I had the same daily calendar that the page you sent me was from, one year! I hope you've been able to settle down in Ipoh and things are less stressful as expected! I hope I can finally send you some mail! I'm headed up to Penang soon, so if you are, I can send you some cards while I'm there! Are you a fan of Ipoh Hor Fun? I love it a lot and if I went to Ipoh, you can bet that I'd have it at least twice! It's amazing how many kinds of headgear exist. I don't think I would have realised it if they hadn't been made into a series just to show the variety!
