u/milesandsmiles123 - GSPs are a breed that I highly respect but would never in my life own. Only the very brave (or crazy) will take on a working line GSP without being a hunter. The two GSPs I met at the dog park were both very skittish. One of them was a BYB puppy that came in a soiled crate and covered in it. She came every day for 6 months and nobody but her fur parent was able to touch her. She wouldn't get close enough. Are they normally like that? I know that the high energy can cause anxiety but I've never seen a fairly well socialized (with other dogs) puppy be so dang afraid of other people.
