Even if you don't need to see the cards associated with this post, you should still visit my Instagram profile to bask in the hilarity of the giant dragon I placed on my bestie/neighbour's yard this week as a Halloween surprise. Because I'm that much of a loon. And working over 50 hours for the past three weeks has left me with an insatiable need to bestow ridiculousness upon others, even though my time has been next to nothing. By this time my front yard would have at least five or six skeletons lounging about, but there's nothing. Not even a carved pumpkin. I DO, however, have an obnoxious amount of candy in the basement, ready to put into treat bags so we can hand out candy in an orderly fashion while we're traumatizing as many pre-teens as possible on Halloween. :) We already have parents stopping by asking us what we're doing this year, because they really, really enjoy the spectacle of us freaking out their kids. (seriously. I'm cute and unhinged, and I chase kids down the sidewalk.)

It's also great to get a pile of mail unexpectedly! Especially when it's filled with Dad jokes (I'm looking at you, u/tigerlady13) or stories of boobs and waxing poetic over walks in the woods. You need to get back to your rage-hiking, u/lonelytwatwaffle! And u/welshfancy, your handmade cards are simply gorgeous. I am so lucky to be on the receiving end of your art!

Go easy on yourself; you're strong, independent as hell, and effing GORGEOUS. And one of these days I need to come see you! <3
