u/mccndvst- I love that you used to be a nanny. It really takes a special person to do that job - one that I could never do since I avoid children like the plague. Whatever kids you were able to nanny for are better off because of it. My newest caregiver exposed me to COVID and it took me a few days to calm down enough to speak to her. I'll be testing tomorrow (5 days after exposure) to hopefully see negative.

u/Evil_Snicker - I love that your favorite Halloween memories are those with your kids. I think that holidays are a really important time to create memories and traditions with your family and it gives me great joy that they still carve pumpkins with you!

u/thecaledonianrose- first of all, I am loving the photo on this card because I just love fall and we don't really get it where I live, so seeing autumn leaves gives me a special kind of joy. Second, your note was so sweet. It's hard feeling like I'm not alone in all of this when I don't have anyone I can really call on except for my special RAOC friends. All I know is that RAOC has changed my life for the better and that my inbox is ALWAYS open for you too.

u/photographyislove- always love seeing your name in my mail, sweets! How did you know that I love paranormal things so dang much?!? Pumpkin pie is MY favorite too! I always get the ones at Costco. The only time I bake is for Odin (pupcakes for his birthday and gotcha day) or for other dog friends. I'm a former chef and cooking rules do not apply as well to baking. Cooking is more of a "measure with your heart" type thing and baking is more like an actual science and I sucked at chemistry. Blessings, my friend.
