u/its_top_secret Thank you for the bamboo Chinese character postcard! At least now I know what bamboo is in Cantonese and it fascinates me on how the written portion of Cantonese developed. We're too inland to get any tropical storms and yes, the winters are very cold. Your writing is so nice btw :)

It's nearing her birthday and she's very happy (I know because she grooms herself a lot and has gotten fat). Hope you get to go to see more animals soon! u/wabisabi_sf Thank you for the World Postcard Day postcard! It looks so cool and currently I'm stressed but I'm looking forward to the holidays (there was Christmas music playing in Tim Hortons when I went 2 weeks ago so I'm in the festive mood now).
