I just got back from two weeks away and got home to a whole pile of cards! One card was from a meetup of RAoCers, the others were all from u/AppleCritter723 all by herself!! Thank you so much!

  • OMG your handmade card with the watercolour kingfisher!!!!! When I pulled it out of the envelope, I gasped, my gf asked "What?", I showed her the card, and her said "Oh my god, yes please!" and then continued exclaiming "Such a cutie!" several times. Amazing work! I don't understand why you put down your own skill in what you wrote on the card though - I hope you don't actually believe that because it's amazing and you should be proud of it! Thank you so much for making this for me. I love kingfishers (as you know)! I just got back from my trip that you were referring to. I'm amazed that you still had such warm weather when you wrote that card on Sep 21st - we're properly in autumn now and temperatures are getting pretty chilly. So nice that you were planning to take W to the zoo or aquarium - I'm sure she will have loved either! Sydney has a great acquarium near my work and I used to have an annual pass (only as much as 3x regular entry). Thanks again for the wonderful cards. Sending big hugs!
