Hello! I received a bunch of postcards from my work study job at my college archives. I’m excited to send them out since I’m quite proud of where I work. As a historically women’s college, there is a ton of unique history of the college and it’s alumni. Here are the ones I have today:
- Sophomore Carnival, Class of 1949 in 1947
- Smith College Observatory in 1889
- Founding College Seal, 1871
- Salome Machado, Smith College Class of 1883 (first Latina to graduate the college)
- Angel De Cora, Class of 1896, standing on the steps of College hall, undated (first Native American to graduate the college)
Please be flaired and have a history of making thank-you posts. I kinda wanna test the interest for these postcards so I’ll randomly pick in 24 hours if there are multiple people interested in one. I have more I’d like to send out internationally too, I just need to get more stamps. Please comment which one stands out to you below!
Please note these are not old postcards. They are newly printed :)
