I'll be tagging everyone in the comments after I get this very long overdue post submitted. From the latest pile of cards, in random order:

  • /u/tigerbarksmeow - thank you for the adorable Timon postcard! I was actually at Walt Disney World this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. I hope yours was filled with celebration.
  • /u/commercial_ad4033 - sadly, reddit doesn't allow you to change your username. If you want a different one you need to create a new account. I'm working on this cross stitch piece for my cousin's wedding gift. I have a few stitches in the gold outlines to finish and all the white stitches then I'm ready to wash, press, and have it framed.
  • /u/tigerlady13 - thank you for the birthday greeting showing the San Antonio River. I'll need to remember to bring an apple to my next doctor's appointment.
  • /u/siamlinio - thanks for the Graceland postcard. I love motorcycles and wish I had gotten a motorcycle license. I think I'm a little too old and too afraid now to get one. It's a bummer when you have to work on your actual birthday but the anime convention sounds like a great way to make up for it.
  • /u/pieceofpizzaz - thank you for the adorable plant postcard. The only time I've been to Colorado was when I attended the US Air Force Academy's Summer Scientific Seminar between my junior and senior year of high school.
  • /u/cswl - the birthday postcard you sent is so fun. At my age, I think the saying should be "xx is halfway to death." I went out with some girls from high school this past weekend and we partied like we were 22 instead of the 44 we are.
  • /u/snailmailer142 - a cross country move sounds exciting. Did your daughter get all settled in? I hope the distance won't be hard for each of you. Very appropriate quote on the front of the postcard - we have to trust that we set ourselves up to succeed on our own but it certainly helps having family support as part of that process.
  • /u/bythebeardofluck - yay, another Goodreads person. I tend to jump around a lot with my reads. I choose audiobooks from my library's hoopla subscription, Kindle books that I get through the Kindle First program each month, and tangible books from my TBR bookshelves at home. My Kindle read is about Lola Montez, my audiobook is some sort of YA fantasy, and my tangible book is the third in a fantasy trilogy. Most of the time I read sci-fi and fantasy.
  • /u/pinkjiggle53 - the lunchbox postcard you sent is absolutely adorable. I'm going to share the dad joke you sent with a friend - this is exactly the type she enjoys and I'd not heard it before.
  • /u/philosophysmart2704 - I read 'The Great Alone' as my first Kristin Hannah and I was wowed. I think I'll definitely read more of her books. The yellow and blue seahorse card you sent is so detailed. I appreciate the dwarf stickers - in all my Disney experience I've not seen these before.
  • /u/shaquedamour - I cannot remember if I ever thanked you for the prairie dog card you sent. Your card was actually delivered without a cancelled postmark so I have no idea how long it has been hiding in my card pile. I'm glad things have been going well for you and wish you luck with your art.
  • /u/hellonicetomeetyouuu - thank you for the pretty floral postcard. Your washi and sticker decorations on the back are so fun and creative.
  • /u/psychogiraffe8 - the origami dog card you sent is just the cutest. I'm so happy you've rescued a bird. I don't have much pet experience other than the dogs I've had in my adult life.
  • /u/welshfancy - thank for the Lou Gehrig postcard. When we were last chatting about baseball my Red Sox weren't having the best start to the season. Now they're second in the AL East but we're in a series with the Rays ahead of the All Star break so we'll either end up further ahead or relinquish our #2 spot.
  • /u/lonelytwatwaffle - thank you for the floral birthday card and the washi samples. Also, I love the icon on your return address label. If you don't mind sharing where you got them I'm always looking for label options.
  • /u/flooferkitty x2 - thank you for the awesome grey wolf cards. I got one from you and another bonus one came in the mail a few days later. I love the information on the back about the grey wolf because I learned something new.
  • /u/cookalot - thank you for the amazing birthday card. I'm looking forward to sending on the blank birthday postcards you sent to me and I will definitely be checking out the food volunteer newsletter.
  • /u/kimmyorjimmy - thanks for letting me vent at you and I appreciate the kind words you sent in return. I'm definitely in a better place now - just needed a few days to reset my attitude. I work for an arts & crafts supplier and I do a little bit of everything - sales, IT, supply chain, etc.
  • /u/adarlingademon - what subject and grade level do you teach? Now that I'm a parent I have an even greater appreciation for teachers and all the non-instructional supports they provide to kids and their families.

Ok - I think I'm caught up. I hope I am. Some of these cards are from more months ago than I realized.
