I imagine my reputation on here is of someone who is wild about opposums, cats, fountain pens, and maxicards. I love them; I send a lot of them.

This year, I have a goal to send more cards than I buy, so I’m keeping tallies of cards in and out. Thus, I know how many maxicards I’ve sent so far this year and I thought it might be fun to make a game out of it. I did an offer like this after the first quarter, and now it’s time for round 2!

Here’s my standard maxicard spiel for those unfamiliar: Maxicards are postcards maximised with a related stamp and related postmark. Australia Post issues prepaid maxicards commemorating most of their stamp releases, which is what the bulk of the maxicards I send are and what I’m offering today. This website has detailed info about maxicards, if you’re interested.

The winner or winners with the correct or closest guess(es) can let me know what theme of maxicard (or specific stamp release) they’d like to receive, and I’ll do my best to accommodate (probably with multiple cards, but it depends a bit on the winners’ interests). I have a lot of different animals and birds, places (including tonnes of AAT), flowers, art, time periods, people, cars, planes, trains, 90s health warnings, royals, and so many other random subjects, some of which are quite odd. No guarantees, but if you’re into something specific (that’s PG enough to go on a stamp), I think there’s a decent chance I’ll have something related.

In most cases, the cards will be sent naked because of the pre-attached worldwide postage.

I will leave this open for 36 hours and then choose the correct or closest guess(es) from the comments that include all of the above info. I’ll contact those people to ask for their details and the cards they’d like (so no need to tell me which cards you’d like in your comment).
