u/PinkPengin - Thank you so much for the New Mexico postcard! I'm a huge fan of these vintage postcards, especially their their color schemes. I'd love to visit AZ/NM someday; the scenery looks stunning and I've always loved the idea of just driving through the desert on a quiet road.
u/anony-meow-s - Thank you for the Leeds postcard! The contrast between the modern fireworks and ancient castle is really beautiful. I've unfortunately never been to Leeds but I have been to London and a few other parts of the UK. I have been to your country (Prague and ฤeskรฝ Krumlov) and I loved it; I'd love to visit again, since the Astronomical Clock was undergoing renovations when I was there and I'd like to see more of the country.
u/Elephant-Jane - Thank you for the Jurassic Coast postcard! I read the message before I saw the postcard itself and I sort of expected to see something like the Hyde Park dinosaur statues but the coast seems even cooler. I did some research on it and found that the rock formations cover the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. I'll see if I can visit it on a windy day at some point in the future :)
u/o0oiwio0o - Thank you for the Kaunas postcard! I'm glad to hear that your have a lot of green spaces in the middle of the city. I've always felt that greener cities were a lot more comfortable to travel to and live in - there's nothing like being able to enjoy the shade of trees and the sounds of birds on a walk. I might be in the minority here but I love rainy days so I'm sort of jealous that you get 6 months' worth of them per year.
u/Such_kitty18 - Thank you so much for the Red Panda postcard! If they weren't wild animals, I would love to have one as a pet. - they're small, fluffy and their "intimidation" thing is adorable. I'm glad to hear your days are getting warmer; the weather where I am right now is as erratic as ever and I'm constantly alternating between shorts and fall jackets :)
u/talkingroses - Thank you so much for the Star Wars postcard! Revenge of the Sith is one of my favorite Star Wars movie and I remember getting goosebumps when I first saw the scene depicted on the postcard (Clones marching into the Jedi Temple). It's really nice to have that moment immortalized on a postcard :) My favorite Star Wars character would have to Obi Wan Kenobi; I find his sense of humor is oddly endearing.
u/babyraspberry - Thank you so much for taking the time to design a custom postcard for me! I love your handwriting (I honestly thought it was printed for a second). I'm also a huge fan of Korean food and there's nothing like getting it from a Koreatown. I took a look at your online postcard store and I think I'll order some stuff from there :)
u/SherlockLady - Thank you for the card with the Gibran quote and the large amount of stickers (especially the one of baby Yoda). I'd never heard of Gibran before but your card encouraged me to do some research on him. I found his book of poetry, The Prophet, on Project Gutenberg so I'll definitely give it a read at some point!
u/quackers212 - Thank you so much for the Long Island postcard! I had no idea they had wineries there. Have you been to Montauk? It features pretty prominently in one of my favorite movies and I've always wanted to visit.
