MY GOODNESS. It seems like all the random offers and exchanges I've signed up for here in there came in all at once! https://imgur.com/SKEG6kh
u/Sophiel93 I also love cats and art so this Japanese silk painting was quite lovely! It's been many years since I visited the MET, but it was my first real art museum experience and I have never forgotten it. I got there right when the doors opened on a weekday and literally had entire wings to myself for the first part of the visit. MAGICAL! :)
u/alienflowercats Thank you for the fun postcard with the happy, colorful stickers- love those kitties especially! Hope your upcoming trip is amazing!
u/colleenEs x2 Thank you for the postcard of the Deerfield River at Charlemont. I miss the hilltowns of home, and this is a beautiful old painting. The review of the Brookville Hotel made me laugh out loud. "It was a sad day when it closed in 1999 and moved to Abilene. While the new setting lacks the charm of the old railhead town of Brookville, great pains were taken to make the building look like the old facility. Even if it is more like a theme park than a century-old restaurant...." DYING. I have been to Abilene and they do think a lot of themselves for what they are (although there are some great things to see there). Whoever wrote this is clearly from Brookville and it seems they have a little rivalry with Abilene!
u/green-sentience Thank you for this great "H" postcard (got a real fabulous 60s vibe), for the tea, stickers, and for sharing your favorite teas! I'm with you on bubble tea- lucky to live in a city with several bubble tea shops, although there never does seem to be one nearby when I want one!
u/disabledimmigrant- x2 Your envelope arrived with its beautiful washi tape and stickers intact. Thank you for such thoughtful selections. I am just delighted. I think it is great you didn't have a lily of the valley or poppy card- your related flower picks were fabulous and I learned about two flowers I wouldn't have known about otherwise. I absolutely love these and they will be on display. :) I hope mine gets to you....I recently found out some of the stamps I had were counterfeit (!!!) and I'm worried I might have mailed yours with a bum one...
u/areoutoftime Thank you for the adorable owl card! I loved the fun facts about owls, actually said "really? fascinating!" out loud to myself when reading them and repeated one of them to my sister this weekend (the one about the blood pooling system they have so their brains and eyes have blood when they turn their head around like that!).
u/superbspider Thank you for the very thoughtful card, stickers, and washi! This really made my day! I'm taking a break from my first final project right now- nice to bond with a fellow grad (almost counts!) student. :)
u/kitchen-swimming4084 x2 Last but definitely not least- thank you for my beautiful Megan Marie Myers card and the lovely Khalil Gibran quote. As you know, I have this set bookmarked on Etsy- I love it! It's propped up on my desk right now! :)
