u/cookalot - Thank you for the card, stickers and newsletter invite from NC! I don't think I've ever gotten this many stickers in a card before :) I loved the joke on the card and I'll be sure to subscribe to the newsletter.
u/ifindcosplay - Thank you from the card from Idaho! I've actually been to Idaho Falls (on the way to SLC) and I wished I spent some time there (outside of the Wendy's I stopped at for lunch). Placing a printed message on an advertising postcard was something I never thought of doing; I might copy that in the future.
u/StoryAlternative6476 - Thank you for the postcard from Florida! I love these "Greetings From" postcards - there's a certain old-timey charm about them that I really like. The dog stamp was a really nice touch too :)
u/FeistyBlizzard - Thank you for the WA state postcard! It's really beautiful and I love how it shows all the attractions in your state. One of my favorite video games, What Remains of Edith Finch, is set in Orcas Island and it's really cool to see it featured on the postcard.
u/Sable__ - Thank you for the vintage postcard! Did you know that a lot of these "chrome" postcards from the 1950s-1970s have the same sky? I don't think yours has that trademark sky but that's always the first thing I look for. Unfortunately, the Midwest has yet to welcome spring (the trees are starting to come back to life but it's still cold).
u/travel4me22 - Hello neighbor! I had no idea Ohio was home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! For some reason, I always thought it would be in Tennessee because of Elvis. I saw the sticker you put on the postcard and didn't realize that "Buckeye" was a type of tree!
u/not_napoleon - Thank you for the Shenandoah National Park postcard! To be honest, I've never heard of the park but the Shenandoah River is mentioned in John Denver's Country Roads, Take Me Home. I hope your waterfall hike was fun!
u/scrapcats - I'm glad my postcard helped to spice up your cubicle! I love the postcard you sent me! It really reminds me of the late 70's (I say that like I was around in the 70's) but the colors, hairstyles and the fact that everyone is in the back of a van really create that image for me.
u/DaenerysWon - Thank you for the St. Louis postcard! I've never been there and I had no idea that the Gateway Arch was that tall. I see you're a fan of parks and museums too; I'll be sure to check out the zoo, city museum and the science center if I'm ever in your neck of the woods.
u/aepeyc - Thank you for the lighthouse postcard! It is weird how you never really end up visiting the interesting/famous places nearby because of procrastination. I'd love to visit Maine! I'm a huge fan of seafood in general and lobster in particular so going to a place that's known for that is high up on my travel list :)
u/FollowingTheBeat - Thank you for the postcard! I'm actually a huge fan of the California flag (even thought it breaks a lot of the rules of designing flags) and I love the spin your postcard took on it. I'm glad you have a lot of food options where you live - I'm always a fan of trying different cuisines so I doubt I could live in a place that didn't have a ton of options.
u/organicalmondmilk - Thank you for the bookstore postcard! I'm a huge fan of them and love to just walk the isles of the one near my home. I've looked up photos of the place and it looks beautiful - it's the perfect place for a nice hot cup of coffee and a good book in the middle of a winter storm.
u/ninajyang - Thank you for the In-n-Out postcard! I'm glad I made the right choice of burger :) I might just be really hungry right now but a 2x cheeseburger with grilled onions sound amazing right now. I also love the art of the postcard. I had no idea In-n-Out was that old or that it was California's first drive-thru.
