I am a step mother to a wonderful 10 year old boy, and as you may know, or guess, step mothers often get “othered” on Mother’s Day. Literally, my own mother wishes me a “Happy Other’s Day” every year (Almost every year, last year she forgot) and it hurts. So this year I am selfishly reaching out into the void and asking for Mother’s Day cards for myself, like a pathetic weirdo. And offering Mother’s Day cards to anyone who is in any way a mother. Step mom, bio mom, adopted mom, second mom, best friend mom, work mom, pet mom, plant mom, book mom… any kind of mom!!!! Send me a PM with your address and what kinda mom you are!! Please include in the subject “Mother’s Day”, thank you!
