Just over a year ago I made my first request here on RAoC to celebrate becoming a therapist! I sent thank you postcards back to every person who wrote me and provided a return address; however, I never posted a formal thank you here on the subreddit. I am making sure I do that now and I apologize for the extreme delay! Here are the photos of all of the cards taken in my office.

I still cannot believe the incredible thoughtfulness each card contained. I received so many cards ranging from congratulations, people sharing their own therapy experiences, advice from current therapists, and more. I kept every card in a pouch in my office and when I was stressed or struggling I’d pull one out and read it to help motivate me. I cannot thank you all enough. I plan to make a scrapbook with all the cards, stickers, quotes, etc.

Fast forward to now, I officially completed a year of working as a therapist in community mental health!!! I have 75 clients and see 8-11 people a day. It has definitely been the most rewarding and most challenging year of my life. Thank you for all of the encouragement that helped sustain and motivate me this past year!
