As the title says, this is just so massively overdue. I somehow haven't been able to get around to writing my Thank Yous, because, well idk. But here we are and there are going to be a lot of you so buckle up !
u/likablelobster: Thank you for the postcard with the quote and the book recommendation. I am currently reading bomber mafia and bad feminist (which I recommend to everyone I meet even though I'm not done with it lol). I'll definitely check out "Why have there been no great women artists?" Seems like it's something I would enjoy.
u/stephkempf x3: Thank you for the lovely card and the photo. I really thought I would like the snow even though I have an aversion to winters, but seeing it in Switzerland made me realize that really wasn't the case. Could be because it wasn't fresh but I'm not taking my chances lol. I loved the no.3 card. It is gorgeous. Thank you for the gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous bird invite. I will definitely be there with a unicorn lol.
u/illegal_speedster: Thank you for the cards. Didn't know that the Indian post made these. The Housr is confusing lol. So many people have asked me if it is house.
u/nateve101: Unicycling is surely an interesting hobby. I've never really thought of pursuing a hobby that was so difficult but your reasoning was super convincing and I might just try it.
u/n6mub: Thank you for your card. It did make me smile. I really do wish only the best for you as well.
u/winterescapade: I love everything about your mail- the card, the envelope and the beautiful beautiful message. Off late I've been stuck in a weird limbo and re reading what you wrote really does feed my soul and give me the optimism I need for life. Thank you.
u/snailmailer142 x3: Thank you for the gorgeous stickers and the party invite. I will definitely be present with chamomile tea. I love your year of the tiger postcard. It's absolutely gorgeous and so are the stamps that come along with it. Thank you so much for them. It's great to hear how your new year is going. I hope it continues that way.
u/neongreenpurple: Thank you so much for your postcard. I absolutely love this collection and was planning on sending it out for Women's Day but I somehow never got around to it. I love learning about women in science (and also women and science lol) so thank you.
u/ColleenES: Thank you for your adorable card and the stickers. It wasn't till I reopened them that I noticed the beautiful smell. Thank you.
u/birdiebennet x2: Thank you for your Mulan postcard. It's my favorite animated movie. Grief is exhausting and I'm sure better days are ahead. If you ever need to talk hit me up. Thank you for your palentine's day postcard. You're a gem as well
u/xoxounityoxox: Thank you for your mail. I loved the way you'd done up your card and the stickers. While my life has been hectic I'm just contemplating asking a good friend (and current crush) if I can send him letters so I get in a habit of writing at the very least. It's amazing you're able to do all this along with your PhD.
u/shlbywt: Thank you thank you thank you for the two's day card. It's so cute (and also two's day ahhhhhh)
u/lacuntessa: I always love your mail because there is such a contrast between the front which is somber and the back which is filled with adorable stickers.
u/ridethatbridge x2: I visited a handful of countries in Europe along with Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Egypt. I hope to travel a lot more as well. Let's hope it comes true. Thank you also for the vintage minnie mouse valentines day card. It's beautiful.
u/Kullerkekskatze: I hope you enjoyed the last day of the year. I stayed in with a friend and drank the night away and then we both got covid, lol. So fun start to the year !
u/frolickingfinns4ever: I love love love your mail. your cards are so different from the ones I've seen. Always so fun to open. Unfortunately I do not eat egg, but I will definitely try it without the egg lol.
u/realjoshuamccoy: Your card with the adorable stickers is so cute, it's like receiving valentine's day mail. I'm blushing
u/wabisabi_sf x3: Thank you for the year of the tiger postcard. Hopefully this year I can be brave. Thank you also for the Winnie the Pooh postcard and all the calendar paraphernalia. I love it. Thank you thank you thank you for the lovely spoken word song. It's absolutely something I needed to read. I now send it to all my friends.
u/pheebs_daik: Thank you so much for your mail and the lovely delftsblauw pattern. I love learning new things about cities. My city is a relatively new city so it's filled with skyscrapers and broad roads. Honestly the all round urban planning is amazing. I love Delhi (my birthplace) a lot more. It's the capital of India and the sharp contrast between the old city and the new construction really is mind blowing. I love wandering the lanes of Old Delhi because of all the food and all the history. We celebrate so many different festivals. Recently we had Holi which is the festival of colour. Here we put dry (or wet) colour on people. It's not exactly like paint, more like coloured powder. Most Hindu festivals either celebrate the victory of good over evil, the birthday of a god or harvest.
u/M0NK3YKLNG : Thank you for your card with the solar term. I enjoyed learning about it. This was very unique.
u/cheeneebobeante: Thank you for your postcard and the little info about Ekek. It's so fascinating that different cultures have similar-ish creatures, just with different names.
u/superpotatochip87: Thank you for sharing this story with me. It made me chuckle. Your card with the eclectic paraphernalia is so cute. Thank you.
u/feistyblizzard: Thank you for your postcard. I love watching videos about Japanese houses. Even though I'm a messy person, I love looking at things that are organized. It brings me calm. I would love to visit Japan some day.
u/shazie13: Thank you for the postcard from the Spanish Steps. Would love to visit them some day
u/tigerlady13: Thank you for the postcard. Sometimes in this big world it gets lonely. Thank you for reassuring me. This is why I love this community. It's filled with so much kindness being shown between absolute strangers.
u/mysteryvus: Thank you for your self love action card. As someone who is all over the place all the time I needed this.
u/melhen16: Thank you for the glow in the dark postcard. I've tried numerous times to get into gardening but I always do something wrong.
u/cake-at-midnight: Thank you for the absolutely adorable handmade Lunar new year card. Not sure how much I'm like the ox though lol.
u/foleyfocus: Thank you for the beautiful card and the smoothie recipe. I will surely try it out.
u/poisonouskey: Thank you for the valentine's day mail. I loved the cards and the tiny heart confetti (oh and the heart paper clip). It makes me want to fall in love so badly.
u/ez330: Thank you for your card and the stickers. I love deduction games with an informed minority and an uninformed majority like Secret Hitler, Mafia, Salem etc. I also like portable card games like coup. Essentially stuff that involves lying lol.
u/lilkittywinks: Thank you for your postcard from Madison. The concept of library mall sounds absolutely intriguing.
u/batcaved: Thank you for your cards and the little rant. I could never get into crosswords because I never understood the clues and boy did I try. I shifted to minesweeper instead. So much easier with no words lol
u/maki269: Thank you for your postcard. My favorite thing about the place I stay in is the fact that it has history in every corner.
u/soxgal: Thank you for your card and stickers. I really enjoy drawing mandala's. I also like to draw anime characters, so honestly it's a little eclectic lol.
