u/work_n_depression - Thanks for the Wonder Woman holiday postcard! Very fun and festive :)
u/haxan_ - Thank you for the adorable bear postcard. I really like the illustration. Thank you also for the encouragement about my job... I've actually made the decision since to leave, and I turned in my resignation last week! It wasn't the right place for me to be.
u/KoreWrites x2- Thanks for the postcard from the Met! Such a neat porcelain figure! Yay for good friends from odd categories - they're good to have! Thanks also for the palentine's day card I received... care of u/chibiactionhero and u/honeyfinch! :D
u/amyt13 - Thanks for the handmade rainbow "everything will be okay" card! I really like the way it's put together. Thank you also for the advice and encouragement about my job. I will keep it in mind for whatever comes next, because since I requested cards, I've actually made the decision to leave. My last day was last week. I am grateful to be in a position where I was able to choose to leave, not everyone has that luxury. Thank you also for the extras you included, I particularly love the blank postcard. Thanks for being there for me when I needed people in my corner. :)
u/cswl x3 - Thanks for the good vibes, peace and grace, and Lou Paper cards! Anniversaries are great - congrats on 7 years! Thanks also for the advice re: jobs. I'm 39 now and I left a toxic job a month before the lockdown in 2020, and this was my first job since, so it was a whole mess of getting back into the groove of working, being around people, etc. I've actually made the decision to leave, it wasn't the right job or worth the expense of actually working it, so I resigned. I'm lucky to have been able to do that, so in response to your question on the lou paper postcard - I'm feeling lucky! I have a great spouse, a good home, a wonderful dog, and I left my job and it is okay. I'd call that Lucky indeed! (Of course I wouldn't mind winning the lottery either, but I'd actually have to play first, and that's a slippery slope!)
u/chibiactionhero and u/honeyfinch - Thanks for passing along the mis-addressed postcard from u/KoreWrites! I appreciate yall sending it on, that was kind. :) Happy Palentine's Day to you both! (Since I got mail at your place, does that make me an honorary housemate?) :D
