I have a few postcard sets where the the postcard either is quite different from the rest of the set, or maybe a little bit boring. I also have a booklet full of vintage Bible verse postcards that were my mom's and have been around forever. I remember these in the apartment we lived in when I was growing up, and they followed us to the house we lived in later in my childhood, and somehow they wound up in my stationary, where they have remained. My best guess is that they are from the early 80s (c. 1982-85). They are sweet and old fashioned, but not something I would send to someone randomly.
Close ups are in the album
Please send me a chat with your info if you are interested!
EDIT: GOOD JOB FOLKS. Only #4 is left (and the verse cards, of course, which I have a stack of). If it helps, the letter on #4 can basically read (although I used a magnifying glass) and it is the start of a new pen pal exchange, written in Istanbul in 1949. This is a return letter to the new pen pal. It's quite interesting, even if it does cut off. :)
