u/Hazey_fantazy - Thank you for the Australian Geographic card; I'm glad you didn't have a cat one, because I am in love with that possum! Such huge eyes, and such tiny toes. Thank you for the good wishes; hope Scotland warms up fast! I struggle enough with the cold in England...I would perish up north.

u/truthfulsnack - Thank you for the Berkshire Boar card, I love it so much so much. I'm mesmerised by the, the troublepuffs, as they say. And I enjoyed your giant portobello mushroom story!

u/bookworm02 x4 - So many cards, and all of them great! Thank you for the art postcard, for the sweet, fluffy squirre, for the owl (gorgeous minimalism; big fan of owls), and for the 'I preen for Satan' bird (I remember loving this whole series on Tumblr many, many years ago; this was my desktop background for a while!). And for the book recs!

u/ladyyninjaa - Thank you for the Finland sauna postcard; I'm fascinated that saunas are so normal as a domestic affair. I feel I'd like being in Finland - I think I've had enough public showers not to mind public saunas and pools!

u/eloquentbrowngreen - Thank you for the Picasso postcard. You have a lovely way of writing your m's and n's!

u/AlmostAGypsy - Thank you for the Twosday card; the cancellation is great!

u/spiegel_im_spiegel - Thank you for the Hangzhou postcard. Happy Chinese New Year to you, too! I also have little religious knowledge, despite visiting temples/monasteries every time I'm in China.

u/Starshipscavenger - Thank you for the Winnie the Pooh card & for doing the exchange with me; your family tradition sounds lovely, and I wish we had something similar! Also love the national pride in the Netherlands ice-skating stamp.

u/illegal_speedster - Thank you for the George Barbier card - I've loved this art style for such a long time. Space is a big thing to think about!

u/Vegetable-Water-4919 x2 - Thank you for the Twosday card exchange (and the cats! always love cats); I'll hang on tight to these.

u/bythebeardofluck - Thank you for the 'read to your family' possum(?) card! I love the illustration even though I'm not sure what the animals are...my mind is saying 'garbage rat', because I feel I've only seen them in memes. 'Gone Girl' also made me so uncomfortable, but made me think quite a lot.

u/dontmesswithnuns - Thank you for the Barbados card! I didn't realise at first that by 'a little flower & cat on this card', you meant the cat sticker (which I do like - I'm amused by how soulfully the cat and goldfish are staring into each other's eyes), and was scouring the landscape for hidden felines.

u/shlbywt - Thank you for the Twosday card! Also, excellent handwriting.

u/hotelpunsylvania - Thank you for the 'puppies and kittens' card. I was warmed by the story of your cat worrying about you; thank you for sharing that with me!

u/ez330 x2 - Thank you for the black-and-white party invite card, this was a fun one! I'm charmed by your custom panda sticker. I can finally confess that I still wasn't 100% of the theme after 'penguin' got me in, so this is closure! Thank you for the extra motivational card - I'll pass on the kindness.

u/stephkempf - Thank you for the Valentine's card! I'm very pleased to have received it now - extended Valentine's.

u/LeeElla and u/ItzKoko1010 - Thank you for the Year of the Tiger card! Love every bit of this: the tiger, of course; all three stamps; the tiger tape (so cute!).

u/mtlsmom86 x2 - Thank you for the beautiful 'The Tale of the Princess Kaguya' card - such a vastly underrated Ghibli! The political spin in 'Royal Witches' sounds very interesting; my heart always sinks when innocent people are accused, and can't get out of it.

u/josephineismyhero x4 - Four cards, thank you so much! I'll be sure to spread the joy: I have a friend who will adore the Nirvana one. I think I may hang on to the 'the Graduate' one for a while...

u/cookbree - A lovely, lovely card in a lovely envelope, thank you! The cat on the cover looks so much like my silly boy. Your boyfriend and family sound like keepers; I'm very glad you have them. Jealous you have two cats (and love the dedicatory username)!

u/aefd4407 - Thank you for the peacock card and the reminder of spring - I badly needed it! What bulbs have you planted?

u/GizmoDOS - Thank you for the card exchange, and bounty of stickers - they're all so nice! Thank you for telling me about your life and reading (I also really value the glimpses into people's lives this community offers); I'm probably going to send another card along in answer to your questions!

u/dasnessie - Thank you for the German comic card. I'm very glad you feel a little better; sending you more hugs! Love your minimalistic rendition of the comic - it reminds me of playing that game on Gartic Phone where you have to try and recreate other people's drawings from memory, with less and less time. Have you played it?

u/isar-love x4 - Thank you for creating and doing the book exchange with me; this is a veritable goodie bag (the delicate little stickers especially)! (This is also encouraging me to write longer reviews in future.) The 'Jaws' movie poster is iconic, I agree; I'm surprised the T-shirt is so difficult to source. Old movie effects are my favourite - I also love the heavy-handed use of audio effects when they became a thing. Speaking of shark special effects that are truly...special..., have you seen the whole huge 'Sharknado' franchise, and all the spinoffs? Very interesting that the book isn't all that exciting, when 'Jaws' the film is so much known for its scary tension. Looking forward to your 'The White Tiger' review!

u/onelittlericeball - Thank you for the 'Grave of the Fireflies' card, it's a favourite. At a glimpse, I thought this was the train scene from 'Spirited Away', so got a jolt when I looked closer! Eating a ton of ramen is definitely preferable to this world...

u/Designer-Delivery127 - Thank you for the lovely owl card, and the stickers! The glittery gel pen is such a childhood throwback to when I used to buy cute stationery from China. I envy you being able to play drums - I certainly don't have the sense of rhythm for it, or the athleticism (it looks like such hard work)! You're very kind about my playing - too kind for my scratching! I'm looking to maybe(!) take up lessons again, so if I ever get to a respectable level, you'll be the first to hear (other than my poor neighbours). I visited one of my friends yesterday, who actually does play well...wish that were me!
