Hi everyone

As some of you might know I am currently in the Netherlands for my work, away from my cats, my family, and most of the time my boyfriend (though he does visit). I originally wanted to go home for my birthday end of March, but my PhD student has not seen her fiance and family for more than 6 months and wants to go for her birthday and their NY celebration. This means I gotta stay here and hold down the fort. My boyfriend will probably be able to visit me, but I'll miss my family and cats.

I'm a bit sad about this, so I could use some birthday cheer! If you have a card to spare that would be really sweet! I like any cards, but here are some of the things I most like:

• anything cute (e.g. animals)
• I love the color blue
• my research is on sleep and dreaming so I always love things related to that
