I was out of town for a bit last year and my parents, who were collecting my mail for me, mistakenly put the cards I received into my box of old mail rather than my box of new mail (they thought it was a box for bills/work mail and a box for personal mail, and I definitely can't blame them for thinking that 😅!) Now that I've figured that out, and have sorted it all again, I can finally give thanks to all you kind and creative folks! 🎉
u/jennnnnnnnifer Thank you for the truck full of flowers card! It's lovely, and I wish I was the cat relaxing on the cab!
u/Aurelia_Hathaway Thank you for the RAOC birthday card! Such a cool illustration, a very rad sort of Noah's Ark!
u/photodelights Thank you for the Cape Disappointment card! It was far from disappointing- it's really cool that the park stamped it for you! I used to live in Halifax so I got to see a few lighthouses around there, they're so cool! Hope you had a great trip!
u/maki269 Thank you for the Rocky Mountain card! I love the illustration, it has this great vintage vibe to it. Watercolour is actually my main focus artistically right now! It's a very soothing way to paint (and unlike my sculpture work it's actually something I can sell lol) It's awesome that you made your own paper, and tried a whole bunch of other things in quarantine! Way to make lemonade!
u/libertyprogrammer Thank you for the Congaree card! The owl and the mist on the water makes it feel very mysterious! Nice to know about the trails, I love hiking so I'll definitely have to add it to my list!
u/spitzruten Thank you for the beautiful card of Suzdal! What a beautiful place to work, it would be hard to find a nicer commute! I'll send you a painting of it when I have studio access again! I'm not certain when it will get to you though, and I have to double check they haven't shut down mail, but yeah, hopefully it should get to you soon! :)
u/halfwayoutoftown Thank you for the bird card, you were right, I love it! I also loved hearing about your travel penguin- everyone should have one, regardless of age! I'm also a stamp collector so I was thrilled with your selection- the egrets were lovely!
u/DefinitelyNotA-Robot Thank you for the beautiful card! My mail carrier even commented on how beautiful the writing on the front was, so know that you've given her a smile too! I'm starting to think about what to plant this year- maybe something that climbs, some morning glories? I hope your sunflowers brightened your yard all season, and I hope you get a house that you can paint however you'd like! I too will not be having a beige existence
u/oyeselfie10 Thank you for the beautiful birthday card! I loved everything you drew too, that little giraffe is just the sweetest!
u/bluedecemberart Thank you for the card! I'm glad you liked the card I made, and I'm glad you get to have a book full of congratulations! I'm Also glad you liked the stamp- I figured it was appropriate!
