I hugely enjoyed your writing about your former philosophy professor, and how strongly your excitement and enthusiasm come through. He sounds optimal, and his keeping in contact with his students certainly supports all the good things you say about him; I'm glad you had such an inspiration of a teacher.

The Year of the Tiger is my own year, so this is perfect for me in every regard (including the stamp! There's even a Year of the Tiger 2022 stamp! My life is complete). If I ever go to Taiwan, I shall try my best to make a trip to Jian Hou temple. When did you go, and what's made you think about it again?
