when i woke up today it was -10F / -23C. but the sun was making the frosty windows sparkle and i've been prepping to offer these colorful flower bouquets so today's the day!

i made some envelopes out of an old calendar of bright flowers, and inside i will write a note on a postcard of flower arrangements by dutch still-life painter jan van huysum. artistically these are two totally separate vibes but i think they each bring their own sort of pleasure - a vibrant burst and a slower contemplation of the flowers. :) three envelopes won't fit postcards so i'll be improvising with other flowers for those.
