You guys are used to this by now. Spoons, my everlasting foe. Someone unexpectedly made my day today, and it gave me mojo to post this.

All these are for u/stephkempf, who has always showered me in cards. Thank you.

1- Thank you for the moth card! It's very beautiful! There's no word for moth in French, did you know? We call them night butterflies. I do love that the proceeds are going to conservation organisations. It's not because an animal isn't adorable with beautiful doe eyes that it's not vital to its ecosystem, so I'm glad these are not getting overlooked.

2- Thank you for the Karen Watson-Newlin card! It's very summery, and as I look outside at the three feet of snow, I kind of really want to hibernate until summer. Thank you for your kind words!

3- Thank you so much for the Ruth Fromstein card! It's so beautifully colourful, it's a rainbow! It's the kind of piece I would absolutely love to have in my home.

4- Thank you for the Grant Garmezy card! It's like a glass flamingo vulture with flowers, it's so special! I don't really see myself owning glass sculptures, though, on account of being clumsy and I wouldn't want it to accumulate dust. Like I bet it would be hard to clean! I'd also feel wrong holding onto it all by myself. I prefer to see art like this in a museum. Big art just feels like it belongs to big places where many people can enjoy it, ya know?

5- Thank you for the smiley face card! I didn't know blueberries were Canada's national fruit. I'm not sure Québec has a national fruit, but if we did, probably blueberries, yeah. Blueberry muffins are delish! I might make blueberry bread though.

6- Thank you for the hello card! I appreciated your scientific explanation. I had no idea getting up in the morning was so hard because of dream-eating monsters. Damn. They're sly little buggers! We should do something about them! Maybe after a nap...
