Like you, I'm also waiting for when life will be a little more amenable to having a cat again. My dog is still pretty young for me to feel comfortable introducing a cat to the mix - I'd like for him to calm down a little first lol.

And last, but certainly not least, thank you u/ch037866 for the incredible granny square card! And what a journey it made getting here! Although I used to not like this particular pattern it's actually grown on me over the last few years. I've been seeing some surprisingly cute Granny Square style festival tops and totes floating around on the internet that have made me rethink my stance. That said, there's definitely some way trendier crochet pieces available that'd be easier to wear :) Anyways, if you haven't already, definitely check out Ravelry online - it's one of my favorite places to find free patterns.
