Non-flaired users only This is for the newbies who haven't been thanked yet! I've been doing a lot of offers for flaired folks, but I wanted to welcome our new users from the holiday rush.

Kinkakuji Temple (aka Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto is quite popular with tourists and school groups. It's pretty crowded on holidays. It's registered as a World Heritage Site, but not as a National Treasure of Japan, while Ginkakuji Temple (Silver Pavilion) is registered in both. It was delisted after it burned down due to arson in 1950, and rebuilt in 1955. Anyway, to claim please comment a place you'd like to visit in Japan. I want to give a chance to all timezones so I'll leave this up for 24 hours then pick winners, or longer if there's not much activity.

I will pick the winners randomly. If you want to exchange, my info will be at the end of the Google form I send to you. Sending from Japan, please check if and how I can send to you. In general postcards should be fine, but maybe they need to be sent by surface mail (India is a popular country that has this restriction). For US, Australia, Canada, and US Territories, Airmail is marked with an asterisk, but postcards are fine.
