u/??? - a mystery sender, who didn't include their details. The card was sent from Tasmania, Australia and depicts the Cataract Gorge in Launceston
u/StephanieTay x5: Thank you for your cards! Yes, I love Milo Dinosaur and the Milo at those trucks that would come during things like Sports Day is the best! Neither can be truly replicated, but I try. I just make my Milo with water, ice and a lot of Milo powder though. I've never been to Sabah, but it seems like it has a lot of nature. Thank you also for the Christmas cards and tea! I have been full of Christmas foods to different extents since Friday night! I hope that you were able rest a little during this period!
u/LeeElla x3: Thank you for your cards and sorry for such belated thank yous! I loved the Halloween washi and stickers! So cute! The Halloween party sounds like fun! Shout out to our Chinese teachers for teaching us sufficient Chinese for our Taobao buys, hahaha! That slightly late, spooky card is super detailed! Did you have a good Christmas? I had a food-filled one! Thank you for all the mail we've exchanged, as well as the washi and stickers! I'm looking forward to more mail interaction next year! I have also been reminded to hope that next year's stamp releases are better than this year's. If not, they'll make for good content for groaning about in our exchanges!
u/New_year_baby x2: Thank you for your Christmas cards! I love the wax seals you used as well! It's perfect! Hopefully this festive season has warm and cozy despite the snow! I've been watching lots of Christmas movies to feel some festive spirit, but have realised that there are many many duds around, unfortunately...
u/amonstershere: Thank you for the cute Christmas card! Hope you had a great Christmas weekend!
u/Monetmonkey: Thank you for your festive postcard! I hope that you've been having a great festive season, with lots of warm drinks and delicious foods!
u/goa-chiah-pa x2: Happy holidays to you too! It's interesting that the heat during this time of the year feels magical (I hate our heat and humidity, haha!) and the guessing of whether temperatures will be above 40c during Christmas is crazy to me! Christmas this year was surprisingly rainy, which meant that it was thankfully slightly cooler than usual!
u/PinkPengin x2: Thank you for your cards and stamps! Both locations look fantastic, especially the canals in Amsterdam! I love cities with boats on rivers. There's just something about them!
u/cswl x2: Thank you for your cards! What I associate with the magic of Christmas here is the Orchard Road light up, which I have actually not seen this year, or even recent years, since Christmas is a big time for shopping here and I prefer to avoid crowds when possible! Another thing I associate with Christmas is turkey! Due to Covid, things have been different, but usually, we go to an auntie's place on the Eve and have turkey there. I think we also have another turkey on the day of, when the party is at our place. Turkey and cranberry sauce - what a perfect combination!
u/???: Thank you for your card from Tassie! I miss it a lot and did consider possibly travelling to Australia when they talked about VTLs, but I won't go until the weather is better and there isn't a need to quarantine when visiting Tassie. I'll also have to make a trip up to Launceston for once, since I've never actually been there! I'm sure I've missed out on a lot! (This is a postcard of Cataract Gorge in Launceston, TAS, Australia)
u/ColorlessMurakami: Thank you for your fantastic handmade card! I can't believe that these are handmade! I love how classic and Christmassy they are! Hope that you're having a great festive season too!
u/NewsFromHomePostcard: Thank you for your postcard, which explored the changing sounds in Sant Andreu. There was something different about just listening to the soundscape of another city. I loved the front of the postcard, which gave a visual to the place that the artists were when recording the sounds.
u/samswizzle: Thank you for your festive card and cute drawing of the hedgehog with a present on its back! I had a lot of food this weekend and am looking forward to having the leftovers over the week coming. The tea smells delicious and I'm looking forward to trying it out!
u/snailmailforzee: Thank you for your Christmas card! Hope that you had a great Christmas and festive season! I bought a small metal tree and am looking forward to putting up your card and star ornament as well!
u/finishingthetea: Thank you for your cute festive card and stickers! I've had so much fun sending mail and testing the limits of our postal service over the past year! To another good year of postal exchanges and hopefully much better stamp releases, hahaha!
