[Thank you] Part 1- To the many people who have sent Holiday cards to this hospital kitchen worker! They have truly been brightening my week which has been greatly needed as my Grandmother has undergone hip replacement surgery suddenly yesterday. Expect a thank you card, however not swiftly!

u/consciousplanter - thank you for the kind words and the well wishes. I also found the glittery card beautiful and I will love to be able to look at it on my pinboard!

u/ezz330 thank you for the pretty card! I like the christmas tree. I will be holding a small holday event for strangers in need of some company on christmas eve, as I've held 4 years prior, and I will be celebrating Christmas with my fiance the day after Christmas.

u/MITLSMOM86 I loved the little gnome/elve creatures on your card! Also, aren't the leftovers from a holiday meal pretty much the best part? Thank you for your card!

u/amonstershere I loved your card! Was it handmade? it was so unique! Don't worry I've got a thank-you card coming I just have to buy some more air-mail stamps!

u/violetmoss Thank you for your postcard! I liked the quote, it was very interesting and different from a lot of the cards I have been getting lately so I appreciated the difference!

u/chippydoodoo Thank you again for another beautiful card with your immaculate handwriting! I like my hair color a lot right now. It's pretty close to my natural color but just a little bit more golden, so it's a bit more light-catching. My favorite dessert in this season is pecan pie! Happy Holidays!

u/steen73 Thank you so much for the amazing vintage card! I've never been given a card this old before. Where did you get it? I will treasure it! Happy Holidays!

I have a pile of cards I am still saving for when I get home from bad work shifts and need a pick-me-up, so if you haven't been thanked yet, don't fret, I most likely have received your card and it is being held on to lovingly awaiting opening at a special time where it will be most appreciated!

Since I joined this subreddit, I have found pure joy in the act of sending and receiving cards and a sense of community in a way I wouldn't have thought possible- over some stamps and cardstock. So please, everyone give yourself a round of applause for being the most welcoming, understanding, accepting, and thoughtful community I have ever joined.
