I want to learn more about this great big world I live in. To make it fun, I decided to randomly select one of Earth's countries every month, and spend the month seeking out as much information about that country as I can. I will look for books, movies, news, music, cooking recipes... from my country of the month, and see what I can learn. Maybe I'll cook a new dish, learn a song, study the flag, or learn about the country's history... whatever I come across.

My December country is The Bahamas, which has less than 400,000 inhabitants, so I'm guessing maybe nobody here is from The Bahamas, but maybe I'm wrong? Or maybe one of you has visited, or knows someone there, or has learned something interesting about The Bahamas? Got a favorite musician, author, fact, or recipe to share?
