some of these are from SEPTEMBER (!!!) but they’ve been unearthed, so here comes the love!
u/PinkPengin i am so honored that i was able to participate in our cute card competition, but i truly think we tied here. the abominable snowman hugging a tree??? i’m overwhelmed, we need to slow climate change just for him
u/umeshufan happy (belated) world postcard day :’) as for your request for a story about myself: about an hour ago, my sick roommate walked in on me in the kitchen gluing googly eyes to her fancy liqueur bottles. i tried convincing her it was a fever dream. it did not work.
u/NoHumidity i got involved with RAoC right around the same time for the same reason :) i checked out your nature instagram, and the pics and videos are gorgeous! the ones where you can hear a little stream in the background are my favorites. keep chasing golden hour!
u/slobber_bones absolutely enamored with your hot take on strawberries delivered in haiku form. and your jellyfish drawing is so lovely, adding the little color swatch in the top corner was such a cool touch!!
u/stockman1984 this Maui postcard is gorgeous! i visited Hawaii once when I was about 9, but your recollection nearly exactly matches my memories, so now i HAVE to go back
u/Calliss your description of Lindos is so stunning and inviting!!! I’ve never been to Greece, but it’s certainly on my list of dream destinations, so I’ll make sure to stop by that gorgeous city :)
u/OneDarkandStormyKnit an annual family camping trip sounds like such a lovely way to get away from the stress of daily life and reconnect with loved ones :’) this Vermont card might be my favorite of the batch. the scene of an old man on his wonky, lopsided porch looking over his chickens is so delightfully rural and americana, i love it!
u/colorlessmurakami somehow, your handwriting feels like i am reading a diary entry written by a dear friend. your story about letting your son sleep in was too sweet, and i wish him a happy belated fifth birthday! five is a crazy year for all of us, remind him not too party too hard
u/pullingback i’m glad you confessed to never having seen the Lifted short from Pixar, because your card inspired me to also watch it for the first time! it is very cute, and you are very brave for your honesty
u/JschexxyOG first of all i am OBSESSED with the boldness of your writing, aggressively hot pink highlighter with bright red swirls of cursive on top is such an adorable look omfg. i love the uranus planet card joke, i love finding dumb cards like that for my people’s birthdays!!
u/stephkempf i love the unique shape of the flower cutouts in this card!!! the painted design is so pretty. i don’t know if you remember, but you added the sweetest message about being a 10 with a 10 of hearts card, which i’ve stuck above my mirror as a reminder. thank you :’)
u/lavendar_ling this card from the CAT WEDDING (!!!) set has to be one of the best themes i’ve seen. i want to boogie the night away with a cat in a tux, but i am cracking myself up at the thought of fancy cat guests pawing at the chocolate fountain like they do the water of a sink. thank you for the happy mail!
u/captain_taggart the print of the Paul Klee piece on the front is nothing compared to your bizarrely beautiful inking on the back?? oh my god???? your doodles are wonderful, don’t worry about not knowing what to write! the motion & precision of yout insane linework is the absolutely envy of someone like me, owner of the shakiest hands on this side of the Mississippi
u/kuddledeadgirl i love the little painting of these victorian girl, and don’t worry, i have commenced throwing kindness around like confetti!
u/somedrawer i’m glad someone commiserates with my college decoration restrictions, and we are now brothers in Postcard Wall Curation! the Mono Lake destination card is such a bold and lovely addition, it almost looks sci-fi! thank you so much :)
u/chibiactionhero the seasons of seattle card made me laugh out LOUD. the fancy official description on the back says “The seasons of Seattle. When you can see it, it is breathtaking” which only killed me more. praying for you and your rained-on brethren
u/goodluckgoodcup oh, Clara, dear lighthouse keeper, this card might be one of my favorites i’ve ever received. did you ever figure out how to master the lighthouse lighter? your theory about positive emotions sounded like it couldn’t have been far off, so i hope the 30-try days are now few and far between. i also trust that you’ve done a wonderful job of organizing the old lighters from the previous keepers, because that’s a mess that you were made to tackle. much love from Satellite 210-MA!
