My second (and last) delayed thank you post. I've managed to read through all the amazing cards in my pile now and am overwhelmed by all the love that's been sent my way πŸ₯°

u/Ursa__Minor - Thank you so much for the beautiful dinosaur card, as well as all the great song recommendations - I had a listen of "The Cape" by Guy Clark and got absolutely lost in it ❀️

u/DPClamavi - I love the card you sent of the cat on a pier being chased by a hoard of crabs. I had a quick read of the info on the back and saw that it was made with vegetable ink, which is really cool! I haven't heard of any of the horror stories on the back (especially surprised about the one by Roald Dahl!), so I'll definitely check them out πŸ˜ƒ. A horror (comedic horror) graphic novel I enjoyed a long time ago is Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse by Ben Templesmith.

u/sweetlittleghost x7 - Wow, this envelope was stuffed with so much happy mail! I love the pink metallic paper on the card (it's like glitter paper but without the craziness of it getting everywhere! 😍). The puma postcard is one of my favourites from the extras - the facts on the back are all new to me (they call it a small cat?!) so it's extra cool πŸ˜ƒ RAoC has definitely been my saving grace and I'm so glad it brings you joy. Looking forward to sending you some more mail soon ❀️

u/amad9705g x3 - The little card is so adorable! And the postcard with the wings is beautiful - I loved reading the info about it on the back and the line about "a postcard sleeps in a cocoon till you write an address and send it to your beloved ones" and then once it's sent it has wings ❀️ I'm also a bit of a homebody and enjoy relaxing in my natural habitat, but also like to venture out in nature and go hiking ☺️

u/Gigi700Gigi - The Lenore Lasher artist postcard you sent has SO much to look at! I keep going back to it and finding new little elements that I've previously missed ❀️ The lighthouse stamps you used are really cool too! Summer this year was unseasonably cold and wet (made worse by the fact that it was an incredible summer the year before - everything was just so dreary this year!). So I welcomed the changes that Autumn brought πŸ˜ƒ Hope it's not too cold for you yet!

u/Stephkempf - Thank you so much for the Bergen postcard! It definitely brought back memories from when I was there a few years ago - I walked along the street in front of those coloured buildings a few times πŸ˜ƒ I took the train there from somewhere else in Norway, but I can't remember where.....

u/birdiebennett - I love the Nightmare Before Christmas postcard you sent (such a great film!). I laughed so hard reading about your favourite Halloween costume - your mum sounds like a legend, and I bet you wore it with absolute confidence! Hope you had a lovely Halloween πŸŽƒ

u/Illegal_speedster - I'm absolutely in love with the whale dream postcard you sent. It's absolutely stunning and I love the water effects around the whale ❀️ Imaginative scenes like this one always make me try and think of a backstory that led to that scene πŸ™‚

u/am-nightmare - The animal skull sketch you sent is incredible! The use of light and shading all done with pen on a postcard is really phenomenal - you've obviously got some fantastic skills and I'm very grateful for your piece of artwork ❀️

u/Tigerhueterin - Thank you for another beautiful postcard! I love that it says hello in German instead of English; in the words of Bob Ross, "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents" ☺️ All the flowers, foliage and little creature stickers/washi look so amazing around it too. Hope you managed to enjoy your long weekend (although I imagine it's been a little while since then!).

u/Vegetable-Water-4919 - Oh my goodness, I loved reading all about Durga πŸ˜ƒ The card is so beautiful and you included so much info within it! She sounds like an amazing goddess - thank you for sending her my way ❀️

u/vjordan86 - The glow in the dark postcard you sent is hauntingly beautiful ❀️ It's only through RAoC that I discovered glow in the dark postcards existed and they're just so fun! I really hope you enjoyed your walk and that your Autumn has been great ☺️

u/ChocolateLaowai - Thank you for your postcard from hotel quarantine - fingers crossed that writing out cards managed to chase away some of the boredom πŸ™‚. I love the little drawing of your bento box and can only hope that it tasted nice 🍱 I really like the cartoon style stamps you used as well!

u/aurelia_hathaway - Thank you so much for the illustrated postcard - it looks like a scene from a film, but I can't think of which one! πŸ™ˆ The stamps you used are so different as well (although these may be standard where you are?).

u/56Thorns x3 - I'm in love with the style of the Daring Dames postcard - the colours are just amazing and her IDGAF expression whilst standing on a motorcycle just gets me every time! πŸ˜‚ I've yet to get on a motorcycle, but my granny went for a little ride on one as a passenger when she was 80! The little shaped butterfly with the metallic accents is so pretty that I've stuck it on my mirror and the motivational postcard is so kind ❀️ All the Canadian stamps on the envelope were great as well!

And finally, u/umeshufan - I love that you sent a surprise card! The photo of the Autumn woods is beautiful and reminds me of a certain place that I love to go for walks (but for some reason have never taken a photo there! πŸ™ˆ). I was really loving the season and the changing colours (I did a bit of oooh-ing and aaah-ing myself πŸ˜‚), but then the clocks went back and it gets dark so early now! I'm consoling myself that it'll make for a nice drive home once people put up their Christmas lights ☺️
