I've been home from the hospital for almost a month now, and I've received a lot of cards since then! I think this is the second batch of thank you posts since I have come home. I am going back to work soon and I am really excited!

I owe some people some halloween cards that I am being really bad about getting out so if you think I owe you one please comment as such and I will make a note of it!

I can't wait to be back to work so my life can get back to normal! Thanks so much for all the well wishes! I love art markets! I haven't been to one in a really long time but maybe I can go to some in the spring.

u/pullingback thank you for the card, and thank you for the beautiful envelope with the cool stamps! I've never seen stamps like that used on a card before. Are they vintage? Thank you for sharing your experiences with me to let me know I am not alone. it is so helpful to know that.

I've been home for almost a month now but I've been really awful at checking my PO box so I have no clue when your card arrived. But recovery is going pretty well and I am really itching to get back to work! Hope you are having a great day as well!

I am not sure if there's been a mix up in a form somewhere autofilling, but I just go by Chris! the other name is my legal name and I prefer not to have it on anything that I read. But either way, I really appreciate the well wishes! I am doing better every day, but I actually didn't have a surgery or anything, it wasn't that kind of hospitalization. Weather in Boston has been really back and forth, we've been having days anywhere from 45 degrees all the way to 70 degrees but it's been really shitty and rainy out the past few days which isn't so great for any sort of fruit picking. I personally don't have a car so I don't have a way to get out to any orchards when I am home, but when we go visit my fiance's parents up in Vermont we always go apple picking.

I loved all of the stickers and art on the outside of it. you're making me think I need to decorate my envelopes more but I don't know where everyone always finds all this cute stuff. My plan for halloween is to hopefully sit out on my porch and hand out candy to any kids that might come by, I don't think that we will get that many because the local main street did a halloween event on friday but I still want to see if we will get anyone. I bought a HUGE bag of candy just in case. I don't care if I'm giving out fistfuls to each kid!

Thank you so much to everyone that has been sending cards and well wishes the past few months since I joined this community, it has been a sincere honor to be part of such a caring loving community and it is such a joy to open each and every card. On my worst days opening one card can make me feel so much better knowing that even just one person cared enough to write this card, and I have all the cards I've received pinned up on a board above my desk so I can always see them. You are all so much appreciated <3
