I returned from a harrowing trip running from the bomb cyclone to discover a delightful surprise of spooky cards and pretty cards and even a card from Mars! What started as one or two thank yous to be had has blossomed, so hold on to your witches hats!

u/xmewwx Thank you for the Snoopy halloween card I loves it so very much. I've prepared to give out candy (I asked all the parents I know what I can do to help kids feel safe.) and decorated my yard, I'll be watching movies and writing swear word postcards in-between trick or treaters!

It's amazing how similar zinnias and marigolds look - that is until you google and realize they both belong to the Compositae family of flowers. (I actually have no idea if that makes a difference.) I'm sending all the good energy out in to the world for a mutually beneficial time for you and a little doggy to meet and take each other in! Animals are simply the cutest and bestest friends.

And lastly, as to not displease the night monsters, your description of what happened gave me the heebie-jeebies. And typing that gave me deja vu. 😳

I might wear a Star Trek costume or my black cat comfy outfit to pass out candy this year, not sure, but I have lots of cute halloween masks (cloth face masks) so I'm really excited to show those off answering the door!

u/waterloo_math_grader Thank you for the Mars postcard from the Viking Lander, it's so very cool! (I know that there is sound, it was super cool to listen, and I swear not at um all, ahh, spooky. Nope not at all.) I think it's more common for folks to not have met famous people, or for one person's idea of a famous person to be different than anothers. I mean for me, I'm more excited meeting scifi cosplayers & disney castmembers than real famous people.
