I've not been feeling very well for the past week or so, and then completely forgot that I had travel booked (I brought the cards with me to read on my journey π), so I can only apologise for the lateness of these thank yous!
Mystery Sender #1 - I love the hedgehog postcard and reading all about your family and it's ties to food! β€οΈ I am also incredibly impressed with how you can write so neatly and so small to fit so much onto the postcard π I have your address, so will definitely write you back, but unfortunately can't find a username on the card.
Mystery Sender #2 - I think this is from u/mtlsmom86? This is the cutest Halloween postcard with a stack of pumpkins and a peeking cat π The Halloween themed sloth stickers on the back are just adorable - I especially love the bat sloth snuggled up with the moon β€οΈ
u/slobber_bones x2 - Thank you so much for the Halloween card and the stickers (they're all so adorable)! π. I really love your drawing of the hench frog too - he looks a bit angry, but I imagine that's because it's difficult to move around with so many muscles!
u/CupidKat - The barn postcard based off one of your paintings is beautiful! I love that it also has a barn stamp π. I remember once going to a fair where there were competitions for decorated postboxes and photography, but the entire theme was barns - all the photos were of barns and the postboxes were all decorated to look like different types of barns. It was incredibly specific (and I still don't know why!), but also quite cool!
u/samswizzle x2 - The Autumn card is so beautiful β€οΈ I love all the colours in the trees and there's so many extra stickers! Thank you so much for the playlist - Pieces is one of those bittersweet songs for me (and I love listening to it when having a walk through the woods in Autumn). I'm so glad you like Sad (Clap Your Hands) - it came up as a random suggestion when I was listening to music, so I haven't listened to a ton of their stuff yet, but can recommend checking out their song "High" π
u/austsianodel - The mushroom-shaped card is adorable! β€οΈ I love the fungi facts that you included - they are such weird and amazing things, aren't they?! I find myself taking photos of fungi whenever I go for walks in the woods because they're just so interesting. The little poem on the back of the card is also cute and I can definitely imagine a mushroom enjoying opera and sushi π
u/umeshufan - The whale boat postcard is incredibly cool and I love the illustration on the back with the "Mail Whale". I found your choice of three animals really well thought out and I like the qualities that you picked out of the three - I'll let you know my choices in a return postcard π
u/birdiebennett - I adore the TMNT postcard! I loved the cartoon, the movie and the video game π. Thank you for answering my question about your favourite childhood cartoon - even though everyone knows it, I never watched it as a kid because we had limited channels and it wasn't on any of them π
u/est_1983xx - Thank you so very much for the World Postcard Day postcard! It's beautiful and I love all the little messages in the design π₯° I hope, for Oswaldo's sake, there's not too much rain throughout October - I work with rescue dogs and it's always interesting to see all their different attitudes towards rain; some absolutely love it and others look at you like you're crazy when you try to step outside in the rain π.
u/ContessaLolaMontez - Thank you for the Indiana postcard π I had to look up why it was called the Hoosier state, as I've never heard if that before! The snail mail stamp is super cute and I love the sea creature stamps too β€οΈ
u/LaCuntessa - I love the roadrunner postcard - there's so many facts! I really like your postcards as it's helping me discover all kinds of new podcasts π
u/NoHumidity - The card you sent is amazing - I love the feathers and the quote on the front β€οΈ. But most of all, I really liked reading about your time in the UK - and I have to agree that Cornish pasties are delicious! Thank you so much for all the recommendations from where you live as well - you had me at cherry blossoms and jumbo cookies βΊοΈ
