Thank you everyone for the cards. https://imgur.com/a/xWuWfKT Finding mail in my box at the end of the day has been so helpful during this rough time Iām having. I love and treasure all of them.
I noticed many of them have cool postmarks that I havenāt seen before with cute images and energy awareness text. Is that a new thing that certain post offices do?
u/wabisabi_sf x2 Thank you so much for the card, World Postcard Day postcard, and the stickers! Your card was so enjoyable to read. I will write back! As always, I love how you decorate the envelope. The coffee theme is awesome and I love how even the stamp goes with it. Thank you for the WPD postcard. It was so thoughtful of you to choose those beautiful Japanese stamps. I canāt remember at the moment if I told you that this carding hobby has gotten me into stamp collecting. I was already enjoying looking at the various stamps people use, but now Iām paying even closer attention and really finding such beauty in them. The one that you used with the temple is so pretty. I adore the stickers you sent! I am so excited to use them (or hoard themā¦I have a little bit of a problem. This post kind of called me out š) I just recently heard of stickii. I havenāt looked it up yet because it could be dangerous for me.
u/BoobaFatt13 Thank you for the amazing handmade steampunk card! The combination of colors and textures is really great. I love that the little gear spins! Really nice work š. I am not sure if a piece came off the card because half of the envelope flap was unsealed when I got it and thereās one spot on the card that looks shiny like something might have been glued there. Or maybe that is part of the variety of textures and finishes that you designed. Either way I love the card!
u/feellikebeingajerk Thank you for the spooky Halloween card! I love all the stickers and washi in the card and on the envelope. And the addition of the Halloween jokes is awesome! The special Halloween stamp is so cool. I think I briefly saw those at the post office but not up close. Love it!
u/retrorabbit79 Thank you for the vintage Scranton postcard! I love the Office and have rewatched all of it too many times. It was the perfect comedy that I needed during the height of the pandemic last year. Super cute address stamp and username sticker! I like how you coordinated the colors with my address and used contrasting colors in the writing and the stickers, washi, and postage stamp.
u/Nohumidity Thank you for the gorgeous mushroom postcard! Itās going up on my mushroom card wall šš. I had never heard of seek before. Iām excited to try it out. I used to live in an area that had those really cool red & white polka dotted āsmurfā mushrooms. Youāre right that they are toxic, but they are so beautiful and it feels magical to come across one. There would be a time of year that I would find patches of them on hikes. Sometimes they had bite marks from deer and squirrels who are known to eat them.
u/stephkempf Thank you for the āfaunaā card! I love how some artists are so good at using simple watercolor brush strokes to evoke images and feeling as in this card. I think youāre totally rightā¦that goose would be bullying everyone around!
u/aepeyc Thank you for the glittery summery card! I love glittery things :) and the card is so cute. Donāt worry, your secret is safe with me! Iāve been known for my fair share of daytime napping. Other ways I relax are watching Lisa Eldridge makeup videos (her voice is so soothing to me for some reason), brushing my cat, and lately writing cards is one of my go to activities that calms me.
