I don't want to make this incredibly long, but I wanted to share some stuff about him. His name is Jett and he was at the very least 15 years old, but we aren't sure of an exact age. He was boarding where I work because his previous owner got ill and couldn't take care of Jett anymore. Most other staff where I work either wouldn't take him (due to general dislike of cats / his age / his medical issues) or they couldn't.
Jett is very sweet and very loving, he used to wake me up sometimes very early in the morning by bumping his forehead into mine just because he wanted kisses and he absolutely loved to cuddle - probably 75 percent of the pictures I have of him are him cuddling with someone. He also liked to love bite, except his teeth are incredibly sharp and he would bite down so hard and then not let go, you had to pull your hand out of his mouth and it hurt really bad!! but I laugh thinking about it now.
I wasn't able to have him very long and it's just really upsetting because even though I knew he was old, I thought I would have more time - but I suppose that's a cliche thing to say.
Anyone who knows me knows how much my cats mean to me, they are my whole life and without him here I just feel empty and sad all the time. The only comfort I have is my s/o and my other cats.
Anyways, I know that was a lot, but I just wanted to share parts of him with the rest of the world. Before he became a part of my family, he was boarding for months with no home to go to before I started working there and it makes me feel like he never got the amount of love he deserved.
And if you have read all of this, thank you, it means a lot to me. Maybe you could write me about a pet you love or if you don't have pets, you could just tell me something good that has happened to you recently!
