it was a treat to receive bunch of really fun cards during my birthday month. thanks to all!
u/bostonchef72296 - taco 'bout a delicious birthday card! i received this a week before my bday when i was wondering how i should best celebrate. i ended up deciding on tacos in the park, which was totally a flash of lightning inspiration from your card. and the tacos were SO GOOD!
u/pullingback - you said to send a word for inspiration; i chose 'golden'; you sent a postcard of venus with golden hair and some great golden washi. dig it so much.
u/toastytoska - in-my-state buddy, intergalactic postcard love! thanks again for playing my jeopardy offer !
u/epadafunk - this postcard full of what i'd consider quite-old stamps from the 50s and earlier was a joy to dive into up close. i especially liked the heron stamp. i showed this one to my 70yr old mail art friend and she was just delighted seeing stamps she'd never come across before
u/pinkpengin - gah, this cutest cats and books postcard is so appreciated. your handwriting is fab. and i hope your tattoo work went well! thanks again for playing my jeopardy offer
u/snerdboff - your handmade blue card is awesome, i really appreciate it plus stickers! my fave season is also fall. but maybe tied with summer. i love this time of year between the two. enjoy your homemade breads! did i send you a handmade card yet for our exchange? >.< i have to find my "to send" list, if i'm behind it is coming soon
u/jurassicjessica - the RAoC abstract card challenge card you made was so pretty. that inky jewel tone washi is super delicious. i also showed this one to my 70yr old mail art friend and it was her introduction to washi tape :D good job helping to educate across generations, haha
u/wabisabi_sf - yay yay thanks for your kindness in sending me goodies for your 2nd anniversary here, hope you had a happy time celebrating and know that your send was a super joy to open (and show a friend who was visiting me this weekend). i've been curious to see what those translucent square photo image things are like in person - interesting, i will play around with layering them with paper i think
and finally, u/ymasophie - your card from singapore that was sent on JUNE 14 finally got here! how wonderful! covered in the best stickers and arrived on my actual birthday. and the card image of the bridge and village was right up my alley. <3
