[Thank You] GoodLuckGoodCup's Several Thank You Post #8
Author Summary
GoodLuckGoodCup is in Thank You
Post Body

u/Yesmynameisyes - Thanks for the Monet card from the Meta Fine Art Challenge. Those lily pads always take me back to my homeschool days of sitting in front of the fireplace doing fine art studies. It inevitably makes me think of my mom in sweaters on winter days talking about Monet and when she got to visit the gardens in person. She says it was a nurturing and peaceful spot, but I've never been myself!

u/shy_ally_cat - x3 -Thank you for the recipes! I will be sending you the scone recipe here shortly. I am sorry I haven't dropped it in the mail before now! I will be making both the banana cake and the blondies in my new home - Squee! I always buy too many bananas so....more recipes that use them is perfect. I love my Banana Bread recipe but sometimes you just don't want to make the same thing. Look for incoming mail! Your postcard was adorable too that you found.

u/bluest - x3 - Thank you for the Coffee Meta card and other cards! I don't know where you found such an adorable pack but we don't have anything like those postcards in the US that I have found. Your matcha doodle was spot on. How is coursework going? Is it still best to send things without an envelope to you?

u/SilverInkBlotv2 - x3 - Thank you for poetry and your artwork as always my budding friend. I am so sorry I haven't replied but expect an incoming one to your mailbox shortly. I'm afraid I've allowed myself to many "it can waits" with my impending move. I'll be sure to get you an updated address too so we can continue our exchanges of words and art! You have the most beautiful coordination too of your cards - I am always impressed and it makes me want to level up!

u/Monetmonkey - Thank you for your thank you card! The little French Dachshunds made me think of one of my favorite old-timey movies - The Ugly Dachsund from 1966 starring Dean Jones and Suzanne Pleshette. Really heartwarming especially as I have Great Danes. Have you ever seen it?

u/candybree - Thank you for the Moustache Card! I always get black and white classic vibes around this time of year and I loved the washi you used on it also! I love the smell of fall too. I always say I look forward to winter but check back around January.... I am probably heck-a-done with it by then. I always loved jumping into leaves also and would run and jump after my poor brothers were done raking. I would pay them back with cookies though so it was fair.

u/candybree - (2nd thank you) - Tell Bethany that we need to have a visit for our poor boys to have some play time - Mongoose and Brigando are going through withdrawls. How is the squirrel friendship going? That mini cake recipe is to dye for. I don't have to tell you twice that these would sell like...well cakes...here in the city but I really love that you have established a little world out there. Miss Tizzwold has taken over by the way. And boy are heads rolling.... Look for another missive by Haron this time. Old Raven has taken 3 months leave due to beakrot...I keep telling him not to eat mushrooms but he never listens.

u/Yeah-Nerd - Thank you for the really neat Upcycle card. It was a maze and a card in one! It made me think I should design some game postcards to send. I am also genuinely jelly of the cool stamps you get in Germany. I haven't ever heard of Indian Summer - but the description of spider silk being like silver hair is poetical enough to make me dive into doing some reading into it. Germany has always been on my places to visit list. Where is the best hiking there?

u/shadesoflanternhill - We are having a wonderful summer end here! My garden is about done. We had a windstorm that took out the last of my sunflowers (sadness) but I have a Hollyhock that just keeps on blooming. I am saying goodbye to the plants for the year and putting the garden to bed before I move, and I feel like saying goodbye to plants is probably the hardest part of the move. Are your cactus babies enjoying their new homes? PS - I always love your style with your cards!

u/svtxnocturne - I loved the cacti on your card! I have read exactly zero of your suggested reads, so all are being added to my audible wish list for when my credits renew. I use that as my shopping list also for physical books. I love historical fiction probably the best but read all four genres so I love these recommendations!
